Sierra Club Outing Guides are approved by the Sierra Club for managing the Club Outings and unpaid volunteers. Each tour guide has his own style, so get to know the guide and expect some differences. Each trip costs the usual cost of the trip we all share, but with a few exceptions, such as a special trip to a national park or an annual trip.
To ensure that you get the information and savings that are important to you, we work with a network of franchisees from coast to coast and from border to border. To learn more about how to become a franchise owner, visit our Franchise information page. Each of our franchisees sets their own times and works to provide valuable service to homeowners and local businesses in the area.
The person who publishes and manages the Meetup events page is usually the outing leader for the trip and is called by Meetups as the host of the event. If you are a member of the Sierra Club, please log in here to receive RSVP or contact us for more information.
